Master Aurel
The Chamberlain receives all correspondence on behalf of the house and determines, by a procedure of his own arrangement, which letters proceed beyond the first reception room. He has held the office since MMXIX.
Mistress Hesper
The Steward keeps the books in which the Group's positions are recorded by hand, and reconciles them at the close of each lunar quarter. The ledger has not been entrusted to a machine, and shall not be.
Brother Tycho
The Master of Letters has charge of the Library, the founding letter, and the small store of correspondence which the house has, over the centuries, declined to return. He drafts the seasonal replies.
Sister Vesta
The Warden has charge of the engraving plate from which the house's mark is drawn, and of the wax in which the mark is impressed. Permissions for use of the sigil are issued by her hand alone.
Father Crispin
The Auditor reviews the ledger annually and renders to the head of house a statement which is not preserved. He is the last office to which a counterparty may apply, and the office is rarely applied to twice.
Captain Reuel
The Marshal has charge of the seat itself: its doors, its rooms, and the order in which visitors are received. He served the house for two decades before assuming the marshalship.
